About the KSHITIJ Incubation Programme
KSHITIJ is a national-level incubation programme launched by Intellectual Property & Technology Management Unit (IP&TM) under National Agricultural Innovation Fund (NAIF) of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) through Hub & Spoke Model. CIRCOT KSHITIJ offers a structured pathway for innovators to transform promising ideas into validated, market-ready solutions. CIRCOT KSHITIJ aims to identify, nurture and accelerate innovative ideas and early-stage startups working in Farm Mechanisation and Post Harvest Technology. ICAR–CIRCOT, Mumbai as the Hub leading another Five ICAR institutes (ICAR–CIAE Bhopal | ICAR–NINFET Kolkata | ICAR–CAZRI Jodhpur | ICAR–CIARI Goa | ICAR–IIFSR Meerut) across the country as Spokes. The programme brings together scientific expertise, domain mentoring and institutional support on a single platform.
The programme focuses on Farm Machinery and Post-Harvest Technology sector, encouraging solutions that improve efficiency, sustainability, value addition and income generation in agriculture. The programme provides a unique opportunity to refine ideas, strengthen business models and take the next step towards successful agribusiness entrepreneurship.
CIRCOT KSHITIJ invites innovators, startups and entrepreneurs from across India who are passionate about building scalable, impactful and commercially viable solutions in the domain of Farm Mechanization and Post Harvest Technology. Selected applicants will receive one month of intensive training and mentoring, access to experts and scientists, support for technology validation and field testing, business and market guidance and exposure to a national innovation ecosystem.
