FITT present a unique investment opportunity through the SEED & LEAP Fund, an initiative by Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC). This funding aims to support innovative startups in the biotechnology sector, providing crucial financial assistance to foster sustainable enterprise development. The proposed funding support is positioned to act as a catalyst in bringing technologies/ products forward towards piloting/ commercialization and reducing their gestation to commercialization.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Start-up venturing into the domain of Healthcare / Biotechnology / Bioprinting / Diagnostics / Personalized Medicines / Tissues Engineering / Biopharma / Pharma with a focus on developing novel products.
2. More than 51% of the shares are held by resident Indian individuals.
3. SEED is open for any startup — incubated or non-incubated
4. LEAP is open for any startup — incubated or non-incubated — that are actively raising funds to scale and grow.

Selection Criteria

1. Focus on innovative, product-oriented technologies with a strong IP potential
2. Address an unmet need with significant market potential
3. Have a strong technical and business understanding
4. Demonstrate a clear market strategy and understanding of end-users
5. For start-ups having strong business growth potential along with clear revenue and growth model.

Note: Only startup can apply (Mandatory to be registered as a Private Limited Company)
