Welcome to IDEA START Incubator Space, a collaborative co-working and innovation space at the University of Manitoba’s Innovation Hub, SmartPark. We support students, faculty, staff, post-docs, and early-stage innovators in developing ideas, building prototypes, and launching ventures.

Selected applicants receive 6 months of free access to:

1. Flexible co-working and meeting spaces
2. High-speed internet, printing, and presentation tools
3. Mentorship through IDEA Clinics and innovation programming
4. Networking opportunities, events, and workshops
5. (Future) Level 2 wet lab access for life science projects

Important: Admission is by application only. Selection is competitive, and seat allocation depends on availability. Applications are reviewed monthly; applicants are notified by the 7th of the following month. Terms may be extended for an additional 6 months based on progress.
