FITT present a unique investment opportunity through the LEAP Fund, an initiative by Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC). This funding aims to support innovative startups in the biotechnology sector, providing crucial financial assistance to foster sustainable enterprise development. The proposed funding support is positioned to act as a catalyst in bringing technologies/ products forward towards piloting/ commercialization and reducing their gestation to commercialization.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Startup venturing into the domain of Healthcare / Biotechnology / Bioprinting / Diagnostics / Personalized Medicines / Tissues Engineering / Biopharma / Pharma with a focus on developing novel products.
2. More than 51% of the shares are held by resident Indian individuals.
3. Any startup that has already received similar (LEAP) funding from other incubators is not eligible to apply.

Selection Criteria

1. Focus on innovative, product-oriented technologies with a strong IP potential
2. Address an unmet need with significant market potential
3. Have a strong technical and business understanding
4. Demonstrate a clear market strategy and understanding of end-users
5. For startups having strong business growth potential along with clear revenue and growth model.

Selected startups will be encouraged to join FITT’s incubation and acceleration programs based on their stage.

Note: Only startup can apply (Mandatory to be registered as a Private Limited Company).
